Rebecca "Beccy" Ivins

Rebecca “Beccy” Sue Ivins, 68, of Harrah, passed Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the SSM Health, St. Anthony’s Hospital of Midwest City. Beccy was born January 14, 1955, in Medellin, Colombia, South America to her Missionary parents Harold and Dorothy (Stoner) Bohr. She was reared and educated Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States. Beccy taught school for about 10 years before she married Gregory Ivins on June 21, 1992, in Arlington, Texas. After their first child was born, she became a stay-at-home mother and homemaker for her husband and two children. The couple lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and several other states before moving to Harrah to care for her parents in 2017.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her husband of 31 years, Greg of the home; a son Christian and wife Lauren of Chattanooga, TN; daughter Savannah and husband Ryan McKinley of Augusta, GA; brother Stephen and wife Aurora Bohr of Fresno, CA; sisters Jeannine and husband Eliezer Castanon of Edmond, Hattie Leiss and husband Michael Robak of Maple Grove MN; one granddaughter Opal Elizabeth McKinley.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, at Summit Ridge Seventh Day Adventist Church (18380 Bluejay Blvd, Harrah, OK 73045). Cremation has been affected.
