He was later a member of Sunnylane Southern Baptist Church. He loved fishing with his sons, attending air shows and taking the kids to WWE events and to watch the Harlem Globetrotters. He enjoyed spending special times at Bear Falls in Sulphur with his family and that tradition was passed on to his own family. Rex also loved playing checkers with the grandkids.
