Robert Brewer

Robert Brewer, 84, of Choctaw left this life and gained his wings in Heaven on January 24, 2023, at his home in Choctaw. He was born to Alvis and Helen Mayberry Brewer in Murfreesboro, TN on February 18, 1938. He and his family moved to the Choctaw area in 1973.

He was a member of the United States Air Force. He served as Chief Master Sergeant — Aircraft Generation Branch Chief for the 507th Tactical Fighter Group Military Aircraft Maintenance. He also served as a Law Enforcement Officer while stationed in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his mother Helen Brewer and father Alvis Brewer; sisters Mary Barrett of Wisconsin, Louise Barrett, and Billie Brewer of TN; brothers Tommy Brewer, Johnny Brewer, Foster Brewer, and Marvin Brewer of TN; and great-grandson Oliver Calamateo.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Glenda Brewer of the home; sisters Helen and Gerald Dodson of McMinnville, TN; and Margaret Barrett of LaVergne, TN; Sister in law Jeanette Brewer of Mt. Juliet, TN; daughter Rhonda and Brent Bartlett of Choctaw, OK; and sons Chuck Brewer of Wellston, OK and Lonnie Brewer of Harrah, OK; Grandchildren Jodie Bartlett, Tyler and Lacy Brewer, Jonah Bartlett, Courtney Brewer, Jenna and Sean Roberts, Sarah and Ernesto Calamateo, Janae Bartlett, Cole Brewer, Chloe Brewer, and Jason Bartlett; Great Grandchildren Paeton Brewer, Taden Ratliff, Zane Brewer, Hazel Brewer, Andie Roberts, Pierson Roberts and Ivanna Calamateo.

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023, in the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel at Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah. Condolences and tributes may be posted on the funeral home website
