Robert Henry Rettman

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all Robert Henry Rettman III, 66, of Harrah, OK left this life for his reward in Heaven on September 17, 2018 in Midwest City, OK. He was born February 21, 1952 in Irving, TX to Robert Henry Rettman II and Shirley LaTour Rettman. Robert and Colleen Margaret Dunn were married October 13, 1979 in Biloxi, MS. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force for 25 years as an Engineer and then received his Associate’s Degree in business. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, playing pool and was a Master Gardener in Louisiana. He LOVED the New Orleans Saints!!! Robert was able to fix anything and enjoyed good movies and was considered a connoisseur in that field. He was a dedicated grill master and relished winning competitions. But most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed every minute of his time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Matthew Rettman. He is survived by his wife Colleen Rettman of Harrah; four sons J. D. of Yukon, Alex and wife Heather of Slidell, LA., Chris of Harrah and Brett of New Orleans, LA; a daughter, Tiffany West and husband Lance of Choctaw; seven grandchildren, Isabella Rettman of Tennessee, Lily West of Choctaw, Sophie Rettman of Yukon, Spencer Rettman of Yukon, Lucy Rettman of Yukon, Rylan Martindale of Slidell, LA and Axel Rettman of Slidell, LA; two brothers David Rettman of Slidell, LA and Mark Rettman of New York, NY; two sisters, Denice Gremillion of West Virginia, VA and Melissa Royerre of Matarie, LA and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel at Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah.
