Roberto Rocha

Roberto Rocha went on to be with our heavenly father on August 12th, 2021. The Orthodox Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at St Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Jones, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Harrah. The casket will be closed at all times, but friends may pay their respects and visit with the family 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Roberto was born on June 28, 1942, in San Antonio Texas, to George Rocha and Josephine Aguilar Rocha. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1987 as a MSGT. He was an amazing man, loving and caring father, thoughtful, loving, caring and devoted grandfather to his 4 grandchildren, and a good friend to all who knew him. He knew no stranger and spoke to anyone who would listen. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, taking them to the zoo, running errands and going grocery shopping with his daughter, watching Days of Lives and Hallmark Christmas and Mystery movies, NASCAR racing, PGA Golf and the weatherman during storms. He really enjoyed his time as a Walmart greeter because it gave him the opportunity to meet new people every day which brought him joy. He was an amazing man who was loved by all and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Constantina (Goutsou) Rocha of Greece; daughter Eleni “Lynnie” Tilton and son-in-law Webb Tilton; granddaughters Samantha Tilton and Alyssa Tilton; grandson Jensen Tilton; daughter Irene Atkins; granddaughter Karissa Woellert; sisters Teresa B. Rocha, Anita Dial, Yolanda Pal, Patricia Chapa Gonzalez, Noemi Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers George R. Rocha, Jr. and Hector Chapa, sisters Glenda R. Quintanilla, Nina R. Charles, and Marty A. Rocha. Arrangements are under the care of Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah, Oklahoma.
