Ronnie Davenport

Ronnie Lee Davenport, 67, of Luther passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Ronnie was born to Orbie Lee Davenport and Dona Christine Weathers Davenport on March 15, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ronnie was a member of the graduating class of Harrah High School in 1974. After graduation he briefly pursued a music degree at Oklahoma Baptist University before deciding to join the United States Air Force in January of 1975. Ronnie was a proud service member and even served as Military Police during his years of service. Through the years you would find Ronnie enjoying movies and music, roller skating, spending time at the lake camping with his kids, fishing or tinkering on his latest DIY project. He was a collector of things. What kind of things? Well…if you ask his kids…all of the things!

He was preceded in death by grandparents Clyde Buster & Leona L Grissom Davenport, Alfred Russell & Mary Gladys Opal Carlton Weathers; his father, Orbie Lee Davenport; and younger brother Tommy Joe Davenport.

His legacy lives on in his wife Tina Davenport of 32 1/2 years; daughter Christina DePriest of Coweta, OK; Jennifer Davenport of Luther, OK; David Davenport of Norman, OK; Rhonda and husband Eric Barnes of Chandler, OK; grandchildren Trey Mitchell, Cassie Davenport, Caleb Mitchell, Shaley Hatfield and Lovlei Davenport.

A private memorial service will be hosted by the family.
