Ruby Willene Botchlet

Ruby Willene Botchlet, 77, of Newalla passed from the life to her rewards in Heaven on February 24, 2020 in Shawnee, OK. She was born January 2, 1943 in Lawton, OK to Edward William Priest and Oletha Mearl Pearson Priest. She was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School, Oklahoma City. She married Mike Botchlet in Norman, OK on October 11, 2007. She was a hairdresser and enjoyed crochet, playing the guitar and singing. She also enjoyed visiting the Casinos/ Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richmond George Telford and a sister, Mearlene Fatheree. Survivors include her husband, Mike Botchlet of Newalla; two daughters, Monti Merryman of McLoud and Ruby Lee Hibberts of Oklahoma City; and three grandchildren, William Ashford, Tori Davis and Eric Merryman and 3 great-Grandchildren; Iliana, Preston and Addysen Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel at Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah, with interment to follow in Dale Cemetery.
