Shirley LaVonne LeMaster, of McLoud, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, surrounded by family, at the age of 85. Shirley was born on October 29, 1937, in Bennington, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lewis Charles and Julie Mae (Willis) Green.
Shirley grew up in the Union City area. When she was 14 years old, she married Kenneth Eugene LeMaster on July 13, 1952 and the two were happily married for more than 58 years before Kenneth preceded her in death in November of 2010.
Shirley retired from work of many years as a mechanic at Fred Jones Remanufacturing. She was a highly skilled carburetor mechanic. She also worked for many years at Gary's Restaurant in Harrah.
In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed going to garage sales and casinos. She enjoyed attending church and traveling to visit her family. Shirley was an avid Oklahoma State Cowboys fan and had a great passion for cheering on her beloved Cowboys. Shirley's greatest passion was for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and she had many to love on. More than anything she loved holding and spoiling the babies!
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Kenneth Eugene LeMaster; her daughter, Debra Deardorf; her son-in-law, Danny Watts; her son-in-law, Chuck Dennis; her daughter-in-law, Donnita LeMaster; five brothers, one sister, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Mickey LeMaster and Kevin LeMaster; two daughters, Janice Watts and Terri Dennis; one brother, Ronnie Green and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
