Stacey C Herring

Stacey Colleen (Longley) Herring went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 14th, 2022. She was born on May 5th, 1960, in Winfield, Kansas, to Robert and Lola Mae Longley. She moved to the Mcloud area in grade school. She married the love of her life, Roy, on March 16, 1984. She enjoyed spending her time gardening, reading, sewing and being with family. She will forever be remembered for her amazing cooking. She loved her family ferociously. She was everyone's go to person for advice, sympathy, and tough love. She didn't always tell you what you wanted to hear but rather what you needed to hear. She was our rock. She possessed a servant's heart which she used to care for her family. She was preceded in death by her dad, Robert Longley and sister Kim Whitlock. Stacey is survived by her husband, Roy Herring, daughters: Lisa Kennedy husband Benjamin of Guthrie, Elizabeth Beavers husband David of Edmond, Amanda Halford husband John of Mcloud, Sister Lorri Edge, brothers Sean and Ky Longley, mom Lola Longley and all her grandbabies: Harley, Wyatt, Benjamin V, Taylor, Preston, Jackson, Brently and Lola and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. We are forever grateful for her showing us by example how to be godly women and excellent mothers. We will love you forever and miss you always, until we meet again in heaven. Love you, your girls. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel of Harrah. Burial will follow in the Jamison Cemetery east of Harrah. Pastor Larry Sparks will officiate. The family will greet friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of Asa Smith Funeral Services of Harrah.
