Terry Ann Frye-Jasper

Terry Ann Frye-Jasper, 67, of Newalla, passed Friday, February 24, 2023, at her home. Terry was born August 30, 1955, in Paola, Kansas to Kenneth B and Juanita A (Ayers) Henry. She was reared and educated in Paola, graduating high school there in 1973. She later attended college. She married William D “Bill” Frye on November 21, 1981. Her sons were born to that union. The couple was later divorced. Terry later married John Jasper on October 30, 1988 in Oklahoma. Terry worked as an administrative assistant at the Presbyterian Hospital for several years before deciding to stay home to take care of her sons and husband. Terry was a wonderful cook for her family and especially enjoyed baking delicious treats for them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John Jasper on January 19th of this year, stillborn daughter Amanda Dawn Jasper, brothers Danny and Jerry Henry, and as sister Bonnie Henry.

Those left to honor her memory include her twin sons William Frye and Tyson Frye both of Newalla; sisters Alma Baumgartner and Lila Snyder; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday March 6, 2023, at the Asa Smith Funeral Chapel in Harrah. Burial in the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas will follow at a later date.
