Timothy "Tim" Ross Stansberry

Timothy Ross Stansberry

Tim grew up in Midwest City, OK and attended Midwest City High School. He then joined the U. S. Army and served a term in the service of his Country. Upon his return from the tour with the Army, he moved to Moore, OK to work alongside his father as a heat and air technician, where he stayed until his passing. Tim then moved to Luther, OK, and lived near his brother Terry until he left us.

Tim was a character like we have never known. He had a sense of humor that was infectious, along with his laugh. People who knew Tim will always have an entertaining story to tell of him.

He was a loving son and caretaker of his parents, Vernon Douglas and Betty Elaine Stansberry till the day they passed. A friend and brother to his brother and sisters; Terry Stansberry and wife Leona, Vickie Stansberry, Mary Townsend and husband Terry, Jeanne Selby and husband Terry. And a fun and crazy uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews; John, Joseph, Leslie, Russell, Dustin, Jesse, Chance, Matthew, Derrick, Daniel, and Alissa.

Tim enjoyed golfing and spent many days on Lakeside Golf Course in Moore. He liked playing the games at the casinos, watching "the wheel" on TV, and being outdoors. He loved his pets and he had many throughout his life.

His family and friends will always miss his entertaining presence and silly genuine character.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2023 in Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK.
