Victoria Carolyn Wilson

Victoria, “Vicki” Carolyn Wilson, 90, a life-long Harrah resident, passed Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Harrah Nursing Center. The Rosary will be recited 6:30 pm Sunday evening at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Harrah. A Wake will follow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will follow in the St Teresa of Avila Catholic Cemetery. The casket will be open from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Vicki was born April 26, 1932, in Harrah, to Maximilean Joseph and Veronica Carolyn (Jorski) Kupczynski. She was reared in Harrah, graduating in 1950. She married Leonard Wilson on January 21, 1951, in Harrah, the couple had four children and were later divorced. While her children were young, Vicki was a stay at home mom, but later went to work for the Midwest City Hospital in housekeeping, 22 years later she retired as the Linen Room Supervisor. She was a longtime member of the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. She served as a member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She helped out with many tasks at the Church including driving the Sisters of the Parish around town to do their shopping and the establishment of the Juniorettes of St Teresa. Survivors include her children Patty and husband Kenneth Franklin of Oklahoma City, Carol Wilson of Oklahoma City, James and wife Diane Wilson of Prague, Paula and husband Travis Fairchild of Harrah; one sister Dorothy Schaefer of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
