WANDA LOU HOLT Wanda Lou Holt, 80, of Harrah passed from this life to her reward in Heaven on September 23, 2018 in Harrah. She was born May 10, 1938 in Hatfield, AR to Wiley Daniel and Mary Elizabeth Gist Learned. She and William (Bill) Holt Jr. were married on March 24, 1956 in McCurtain, OK. Wanda had been a resident of Harrah since 1971, moving here from Oklahoma City. She enjoyed working outside in her garden and caring for her grandkids and her great-granddaughter. She participated in the activities of the Harrah Senior Center for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William (Bill) Holt Jr. on September 7, 2012; two daughters, Katheryn Holt and Pamela Poston; two brothers and five sisters. Survivors include her daughter and care-giver Mary Theiss and her husband Tim of Harrah; four grandchildren, Joshua Theiss and wife Karen of Del City; Carrie E. Theiss-Matthis and her husband Shawn of Moore; James Poston Jr. and his wife Melissa of Harrah; and Katheryn Poston; 7 great-grandsons including Brighton and William; 3 great granddaughters including Charlette, Kaitlynn and Shelby; one great-great grandson William Jr. and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 28 at 2 p.m. at Old Panther Cemetery in McCurtain, OK under direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service, Harrah. Tributes and condolences may be posted on the funeral home web-site www.asasmith.net. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with family only from 2 to 6 p.m.
