Wanda Sue Dooley

Wanda Sue Dooley, 79, of Harrah, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital South. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the Newalla Church of Christ. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Wanda was born March 19, 1942, in Wetumka, to Irving G and Thelma Mae (Farmer) Banta. She was raised and educated in Wetumka, later attending beauty school in Midwest City. She married Troy Lee Dooley, June 25, 1956, at the First Christian Church of Wetumka. The family made their home in Holdenville and Midwest City, before moving to Harrah in 1976. Wanda worked as a beautician for many years, but spent most of her time caring for her husband and three children. She was a longtime, devoted member of the Newalla Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, Troy and wife Sheri Dooley, Harold and wife Mary Dooley, Sandy and husband Kirk Breed all of Harrah; a brother Milton D and wife Joyce Banta of Weleetka; grandchildren Troy Wayne and wife Barbie Dooley, Dustin and wife Katrina Dooley, Eric and wife Dee Dooley; Tabatha and husband Bill Gleason and Whitnei Breed; great-grandchildren Jordyn Dooley, Trailee Morton, Emma Dooley, Kaden Morton, Rebecca Dooley, Deacon Dooley, Eden Dooley, Hunter Dooley, Jazzlyn Jones, and Jesslyn Jones plus one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Troy Lee Dooley in 2010, and siblings Newell Banta, Marvin Banta, Marie Morgan, and George Truman Banta.
