William M Brashear, Jr

William M. Brashear, Jr., 75, of Harrah, died Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at his residence with his family by his side. Family run memorial services will be scheduled for a later date. Cremation has been effected. William is lovingly known as Bill, PeeWee, Bubba and Papa, was born in Gainesville, Texas on August 21, 1946 to his parents Inez Sadie Brashear and William Morris Brashear. Bill joined the military in 1966 and went on to serve our country through the Vietnam war. After returning home, Bill and Patsy Ann McGill were married. They had one daughter, Tina Christine Hoherz (Brashear), whom he loved dearly. In his younger years, Bill enjoyed flashing his phenomenal dance moves, fishing and golfing, though golfing didn’t love him quite as much. He had an unwavering love of music, and found joy in song, right up until his final moments. Bill is easily remembered as a gentle, loving man that cared deeply about others. He was generous to a fault and was always willing to offer a helping hand. Bill is survived by his wife of 48 plus years, Pat Brashear; his daughter, Tina Hoherz; his granddaughters, Rayna Zimmerman (Josh Zimmerman); Harley Holland and Micah Hoherz; his great-granddaughter, Hayden Zimmerman; his siblings, Margaret Smith (Vernon Smith) and Thurman Brashear (Kathy Brashear); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Inez and William Brashear; his sisters, Silvia Ann and Judy Gail Brashear; his nephew, Corey Dillon Brashear; and his great-nephew, Colter Donovan Eaton.
